Mugu is the home of our Mugumpa children. This remote district sits above Jumla and the village of Mugu lies at the foot of a waterfall directly below the Himalayan mountains. Circumstances force many residents to leave and they make the five day walk to Jumla to bring their children to school in the hope of a better life. Conditions are severe and food shortages common.
